Training Delivered by Educational Psychologists

Educational psychologists from Psychology4Learning Ltd deliver all training courses for P4L Training.

Educational Psychology is the branch of psychology concerned with the scientific study of learning how we learn. Educational Psychologists (EPs) use their training in psychology and knowledge of child development to assess difficulties children may be having with their learning. They put psychology at the heart of learning, providing advice and training on how schools might help children to learn and develop.

All Educational Psychologists have completed a degree in psychology, followed by a doctorate degree in Educational Psychology, and are registered with Health and Care Professions Council. Our EPs also have enhanced DBS checks, private insurance, and many years of practical experience working with children and young people.

Training can be delivered on school site, or at a site sourced by P4L, at a time convenient to the customer. Recent training topics have included Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, Autism, ADHD, SEND processes, Counselling Skills, and Anxiety in children and young people. Courses have been provided for teachers, teaching assistants, SENCOs, parents and carers.
